Is there a way to stop/discourage my 10 month old son from grinding his teeth?

He's 10 months old now and has a whole mess of teeth. It's not a constant problem, mostly happens when he is eating or right after I brush his teeth, but WOW... it send shivers down my spine because it's so loud!! Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything I can do to stop it or discourage him from doing it?

  • My son did it. It's because his teeth are new and it feels weird. It's a stage, it will pass. There is nothing you can do.

  • I doubt it. I think it's normal --or, rather, not uncommon. One of my kids did, the other didn't.
