  • My kids both loved them as toddlers. Banana, peach, and orange juice is a favorite. So is strawberry, banana, and apple juice. Or cherries and pomegranate juice with a little chocolate. We don't usually add milk or yogurt to ours, but you can.

No, you don't need a special blender. My Wal-mart special has held up for more years than I wish it would have. lol

  • My son likes strawberry/banana smoothies. They are simple and sneaky way to give them fruits! LOL! You don't need a real expensive blender. All you need is frozen fruit (then u don't have to use ice), and plain yogurt and a little milk if it's not liquid enough.

What's wrong with a smoothie? LOL You can pick a banana, some blueberries, a little bit of ice on a blender and you have a smoothie.

  • My 4 year old loves them. He says they're better than ice cream lol. He likes when we make them with vanilla yogurt and mixed frozen berries and cherries. ;)

  • My 2yr old LOVES them!!! He always wants more! If its for dessert then I use orange sherbert and straberries. But if its like lunch time then I use orange, or strawberries, or bananas with a lil milk and ice. You can add whatever you like to them.

  • My girls love smoothies and I use them to give them a vitamin boost. I make mine with a little frozen fruit (I get bags of frozen berries or mangoes from the grocery store -- I find this makes a better consistency than using all fresh fruit plus ice), some fresh fruit that I have on hand, and some yogurt and some milk (my little one doesn't drink milk so I give her some that way), sometimes some soy milk. Then I'll add some extra ingredients that they don't taste, like avocado (although my girls both still love eating avocado straight up), or cooked spinach. I don't add any juice or ice to mine. And they're good... I make a little extra for myself.

  • My sons love smoothies. My youngest is 16 months. Their favorite is banana strawberry but I sneak some spinach in there too, lol. I just use our Magic Bullet to make them.
