need help baking a cake. i am going to add instant pudding to boxed mix, how to alter the other ingredients?

i read several and they all come have different amounts. i plan on using milk instead of water so do i still use 3 eggs or do i use 4 (i saw a bunh with 4 eggs) and do i keep it at 1 cup of milk and 1/3 cup of oil or do i use less?

  • I'd go with Happy2bmom25's answer: it's unlikely to change the chemistry very much, which what the fat, protein and liquid ingredients you add are for.

  • dont alter the other ingredients, just follow a recipe and add the pudding mix

  • I put pudding in all the time - I add an extra egg and leave the water & oil the same.

  • Are you using a cake mix. I make it with 4 eggs, a half cup of water, a half cup of oil, and a cup of sour cream. It comes out so moist and delicious no one would think it was from a mix!
