  • Spring or rain water, with a tsp of salt mixed in and poured into a spray bottle, sprayed in every corner and closet inside. And at every door and window outside, if necessary. Involve your guardian spirit/angel, asking them to surround your home with the protection of the white light. Envision only luck and good fortuned being drawn to the home.

  • You might get some answers if you specify a religious affiliation for it. I know home blessings are common among a variety of religious beliefs.

  • Even among Christianity a blessing of the home is a common practice. Some ask their church leader ot do it, others say prayers as well as quote bible scripture. Among them are often Rev 3:20, Psalms 24 and 127, Dueteronomy 20:5 and dedicate their homes to Christ such as in Dueteronomy 6:6-9. There's also 2Chronicles 7:15, Hebrews13:2 and many other scriptures which refer to dedicating and blessing the home in the name of Jesus as most early ministry's took place in the home.

  • Obviously as it appears in Old Testament it is safe to state that those of the Jewish faith have also blessed their homes. And we know that it is also common practice in many pagan beliefs as well.

  • Kristi, Did you get those scriptures from an ezine article? The article posted scpriture they thought would be nice during a home blessing. But none of those scriptures you posted says to have your home blessed.

  • Actualyl from this site
But you were correct int hat I googled it, and historically it was common to have one's home blessed. While the Bible does not specifically say you should bless your home Dueteronomy 6 does instruct of commandments being written on doorframes.

  • However I have a feeling you knew nothing of this historically or otherwise. You proably assumed this post was regarding pagan practices and shot off at the mouth, neglecting the fact that blessings of one's homes crosses into many religions and their practices.
