  • You could , but that will not make your doctor do it. the baby will come when he/she is ready.

  • I don't think you can demand it, but I would ask if he would do it...

  • Demanding might get him to turn you down but if you tell him you want to discuss induction then ask him when is the soonest it can be done, you might get more of a positive response.

  • Most wont do it till 40 weeks unless necessary. You only have a week to go. Wouldnt you rather have the baby come when its ready rather when forcing it out when it isnt?

  • You will just have to. Babies come when they are ready not you.

  • Unfortunately pregnancy isn't about you, it's about that baby! The baby will come when it is ready! Instead be thankful that baby is still safe inside you!

  • They won't even think about induction here until you are at least 7 days past your due date, unless there is a medical reason for it. Being tired is not a medical reason for induction. You're not even technically overdue until you are past 42 weeks. Suck it up and do what's best for your baby, that's what motherhood is - putting what's best for your baby first.

And besides, do you think you're going to get a lot more rest with a newborn? Hold the course and baby will eventually come.
