How can you tell if it is your metabolism boosting or just your appetite?

I have increased my intensity level in my exercise routine for about a month now and i notice that i want to eat more...i am trying to fen off the eating or eat healthy but unfortunately it is strong cravings for something chocolaty or just to eat... i was wondering if it is my metabolism or my appetite?

  • When you increase your intensity in workouts you body needs more calories to fuel those workouts. Its probably a combo of your appetite and your metabolism. I would just make sure if you are going to eat more make sure you are choosing healthy options. Its ok to have the sugary stuff in moderation though. When I was working out all the time (kinda fell of the wagon lately) if I had a craving for something, whether it be something sweet or pizza, I would just eat it.
