  • I used gerber as well as beech nut and earths best. Just depended on what was on sale when we went shopping, we also made most of her food ourselves. Had more time than money.

  • Made my own with my other kids. My DD who is now 13 months HATED the texture of baby food. We went straight to soft table foods at 7 months.

  • Both and homemade. I have a list of what vegetables and fruits you should and need to get organic and others that aren't much of an issue with pesticides yes there are differences. You can get this on any organic consumer site. I get the regular with wic and the ones I want him having organic I just buy myself. I work a lot and do not always have time to make homemade. Nothing wrong with some jarred food especially if your just mashing non-organic veggies anyway whats makes it better cause it comes out of your blender?????

  • no to both - we made our own baby food (after the canned babyfood carrots were accidently left in a bowl on the table overnight, when i lifted the sticky blob out of the bowl the next morning, i could actually see my relfection in the side that had been touching the bowl - gross).
