What is a straight neck called?

Does anybody know the term for a straight neck? It's when the cervical spine is straight and is not naturally curved like its supposed to be. And what causes it and what is the best treatment for it?

  • I don't know.... but I'm having to go to physical therapy because of it! I also have 2 budlging disks because it doesn't support my head right... I guess I'm stuck with this for life and will always have problems with my neck/spine so it's just making sure I do my movement exercises... I'm not sure what causes it but it got really bad after I carried my dd for 15 mos straight (8 mos to 23 mos while DH was deployed)
