why is my sons poop dark green

He's 2 months old takes both similac sensitive and bm he's also taking zantac.

  • It may be the Zantac. Whatever he eats is what makes his poo different colors. Green is a good color though, I wouldn't worry! =]

  • Yup, any shade of green-yellow is normal. You don't have to worry unless it is black or reddish.

  • Are you breast-feeding? I know from studies I have been taking that when you breast feed, it is completly normal AND HEALTHY...also do not be alarmed if it soon turns yellow and plump.

  • Any color is perfectly fine besides white, black, and red :) my baby's poop has been dark green, lime green, yellow, and brown.
