Carnival Game Booth Ideas

Our school will be participating in a street festival. We are going to run a game booth in the kids' section. Kid friendly of course.

Does any one have any good/easy to set up up games we can use?

Any and all ideas are welcome.

Thank you for your input.

  • Ours did a really cute game where you run with a medium size ball held between your legs..like a relay race...cute.

We also did a game where you get a large cup and fill it to a line with water,,,,then do a relay race where you have to hold it on your head and go...the winners have the most water left in the cup at the end of the game. :)_

  • fish for a prize...you could use an old fishing pole...put a clothes hanger on the end instead of a hook and let them cast it behind a wall (wooden panel) and have someone behind it hooking on a prize.

  • We had a fishing game. There is a large board set up and the kids take a fishing pole, aka as a long plastic stick. A heavy thread is knotted on the end of the pole and the kids stick their pole over the top of the board to go fishing. A little prize of some sort is put on the end of the stick and then they pull their (catch) back. ::)

  • Dont forget about the gift basket game? That was my favorite when my kids where in elementary school b/c I won! Each teacher asks for donations from students for their gift basket. Usually teachers created a theme. Then sell raffle tickets for each basket. I won a coffee picnic basket that was filled with different types of coffee with pot holders and a kitchen towel. Did this every year the kids where in elemantary and the school made a lot of money from it!
