We are going on vacation soon and want to go

to the beach...I know there is a serious oil spill in the gulf and Louisiana, and I believe it started in Alaska. My question is what states are most affected by the spill and so where should I stay clear of vacation wise?

  • OP- I am sorry that you were treated poorly here today. I was embarrassed that so many women here jumped on board to chastise you. Keep posting. Even those who believe that they know everything about every subject under the sun, blunder at times-whether they care to own it or not (usually the latter).

Santa Barbara, CA has some nice, quiet beaches-

  • No, it didn't start in Alaska. It started NO WHERE NEAR ALASKA. Alaska is no where near the gulf. The leak is in the Gulf.

Find a globe, check the latestest and look on the map/globe.

    WTHeck....
    Seriously.....
Last I checked a globe, Alaska is entirely on the opposite part of the continent

But, research where it's been affected rather than asking.
