Pregnancy after cone biopsy

Does anyone know about the possible complications? Has anyone been pregnant after having one done? From what I understand, I had quite a bit removed from my cervix. I just found out I'm pregnant and now I'm nervous. I am calling to make an OB appt. tomorrow, but idk how soon they can get me in to start my checkups.

  • If I were you I would express your concerns with your doctor. I would ask if they could do a cervical cerclage just in case your cervix may be incompetent due to the procedure you had done.

  • You should have no problem. I had a biopsy & LEEP in which cut a large chunk out. I had a successful pregnancy about a year later. Def tell your doc tho
