  • kind of.. but not really. i guess you can call it very very distant family since we're likely to run into each other at some family events.

  • well. i'm not sure why it matters. i consider my bff's family really and they're not related thrhough any series of family. when we go to christmas dinner at my husband's uncle's house, his uncle's wife's brother's wife is there and i'm glad to call her family lol. hopefully she'll be around for a while longer as we keep hearing rumors of divorce.

  • Not personally, but on my mom's side of the family they do, they are all great friends and intermingled. I consider my cousin's spouses family, but I don't think they're even legally in-laws.

  • It depends on how close the family is. I was semi close to my ex-husband's sister's in-laws. Great people. My current husband's family I don't even consider family (horrible horrible people), so nope.

  • Except for the titles of MIL, FIL and BIL....I don't even really consider MY in-laws family. They don't treat me too well....although his step dad isn't such a bad guy, he likes us both (his bio-dad is not part of his life)

But the MIL and BIL's....treat me like crap, lol what am I saying? They treat DH like crap too. We don't see them much, which really doesn't seem to bother either of us at all.
