How often do you water your lawn?

  • Our sprinklers go off daily at midnight I believe. I could be wrong though.

  • During the spring, summer, and fall, every 3 or 4 days unless it rains. During the winter, maybe once a week, if that.

  • I don't. We don't have a sprinkler system and when we are in a drought situation I only water my veggie and herb gardens sparingly. I'd rather have a brown lawn than use water during a drought.

  • We have an at-root network under our lawn and I think it goes off three times a week. I'm pretty sure all the plants' sprinklers go off three times a week right now.

  • Never. I live in central IL and we have enough humidity that it never fully dries out. If it hasn't rained in a week or so then i'll get out there and water it because I like to, but I don't if it's recently rained :)
