These gov't practices have FORCED medical professionals to quit handling MediCare patients, et al Also -in the healthcare bill are already provisions about the extra hoops every doctor & hospital will have to jump through to be on the list of "approved" providers. Just like insurance companies, except that you can go to a diff company, and the insurance companies can be sued. But the gov't's decrees must be obeyed.
So isn't this moot if everyone is covered and on "the plan"? How will providers be able to turn folks away if EVERYONE has the same or similar coverage under the government plan? If additional "cadillac" plans are available, will Mds only treat those few and ignore the masses? How will Mds be able to stay in business? Mds are going to have the same lack of control they have now, but their pt load will remain high, if everyone is covered.

they deserve to be paid for it.
In a capitalistic society you get paid what the market will bear, not what you deserve to be paid. No money= No money. Mds will need to work for less or go hungry, just like everyone else. You ride the high and accept the lows too.
