  • You aren't going to lose weight simply by drinking still have to eat healthier and exercise. But green tea can help with the metabolism. But be careful, commercialy botles drinks, even diet brans contain sugar and empty calories, you are better off buying organic green tea bags and brewing your own ice tea from it. It's also cheaper and saves the landfills from unnecessary single serve or weekly containers.

  • There's no such thing as diet green tea. You can buy bottles of artificially sweetened stuff that might contain green tea but those are not going to help. Brew it fresh and drink it hot or ice it. I think they recommend 3 cups to help with weight loss. Assuming all other things are equal it should make you lose about 3lbs in a year apparently so there is an effect but it's slight. If you're replacing caloric sodas and juices then of course that will help.

It is possible to lose 70lbs in 8 months but it will be tough, that's about 2lbs a week. You'd need to be quite strict with your diet and work out regularly to have a chance. Weight training will help (muscles burns more calories than fat plus it makes you looker tighter and more toned) and you'll need a decent amount of cardio most days, think a 30 minute run or at least an hour walking. I would join a gym if you can.

  • Diet green tea? Is this bottled crap?
Brew green tea from tea bags. Don't add sugar.
Green tea is good for you as in its an antioxidant.
Don't count on the tea causing you to lose weight though.
