Has motherhood changed your style?

I feel like it's changed mine. I'm 27 but I feel too old to wear most of what is trendy so I settle on a fitted t-shirt and jeans or capris. I need to branch out badly.

  • Hah! style? what is style? I haven't done my hair or my makeup in more time than I can remember! More important things to do! Used to be all about me...now not!

  • I wouldn't trade what has changed. But I do miss how I looked after I had the time to spend on me. I haven't done up my hair in two years, I almost never blow dry it anymore because I don't have any time for it. I miss pampering myself, and I know that will change again when my kids get older...but right now....way too many more important things. I'd rather spend that hour with my kids.

  • I used to wear high heels everyday. Even to work! Lol Now I only wear heels when I go out without my daughter. I just can't be wobbling around with her with 4 inch shoes on! My style hasn't changed, I just wear mostly casual stuff now when I'm on mom duty. I still keep up with myself though. I still put make-up on and style my hair. Maybe get a new haircut and a facial or massage? A pedicure always makes me feel fresh too. Get some fashion magazines. They always give me a little push to look nice! Good luck

  • I cant wear necklaces or earing cause my baby might pull them off. then I cant wear lipgloss/lipstick cause if i kiss on my baby, it will get on him and irritate his skin, same thing goes for if I wear MAC foundation. If my face touches his, he gets red. Also I cant wear lowcut tops cuz then if i carry him and he moves weird, ill show everything. So yea, im mosty in tshirts too.

  • I really wasn't what you'd call stylish before, but I rarely buy clothes for myself anymore and only get my hair cut once every couple of years. Just can't afford much clothes and haircuts for everyone anymore.

  • My style had to change, LOL. I went from a size 6 to a size 14. Short shorts don't quite look right on my big ass! I never spent a lot of time on my hair and didn't wear makeup before so that's no different. I'm broke now so my clothes come from goodwill, salvation army and garage sales. You would be amazed at the deals you can find! Nearly everything I have is brand name and was dirt cheap! I'm slowly losing weight thank goodness, I'm closer to a size 10/12 now.
