How do I get the gum out of my daughter's hair?

Somehow, she got gum on her hair and I don't want to cut it and neither does she. Is there any way we can get it out of her hair without a haircut?

  • Freeze it with ice I think... that's how they get it out of carpets... so it makes sense! Good luck!!

  • peanut butter or oil.. WD40 works too.
Anything that will make the sticky stop - then just comb it out.

  • Here is a whole lot of things you can try.... personally I'd try the ice first... less messy! ;o)

  • - olive oil
    - scissors
    - freeze it with ice
    - peanut butter

all four of them work - i'd try the scissors one last, though.
Make sure you wash her hair after using the olive oil and the peanut butter one
