Is this a weed or a flower?

I planted a pack of those cheap perennial boquets and am not sure if this is a weed. If it is I need to get them out so others will get light. If its a flower do you know what it is? Thanks

  • What you are holding is a WEED!!!! The flowering plants under what you are holding that are yellow and orange to the right and top of the weed are the Marigolds. The plant in your hand is a WEED though.

  • yep, those're marigolds. they're great to plant near tomatoes b/c they keep a lot of the insects away. marigolds will flower from spring until well into fall, too, so you should have pretty flowers for a long time.
