  • sooo fattening... but yummy:  a bunch of fresh strawberries and for a dip mix marshmallow fluff with strawberry cream cheese.  I use just a bit of apple juice to thin it out.  The proportions are up to you... keep tasting!

  • I think the easiest food item to bring to a bbq would be some kind of delicious desert like a pie, brownies, cupcakes or something cool and refreshing. People always have an appetitie for dessert indoors or outdoors.

  • fruit salad.

    1 large can fruit salad
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 tub whipped cream (coolwhip)
    1 package Pistachio pudding mix
(some people even add mini marshmallows and coconut)

Mix it all together in a big bowl.

and Vula! a dessert my family will die for!

  • I love to just cut up watermelon, cantalope, honeydew, strawberries, grapes etc in a bowl. It's very refreshing when it's hot out and is usually gone quickly! And you don't have to worry about keeping it cold like egg salad or something.

  • I also do a 5 layer dip with nacho chips:

    in a casserole dish layer

    refried beans
    cheese (mexican blend shredded)

    top with some more cheese
some people put a layer of sour cream but I don't like it myself

this is another dish I never have leftovers of

  • Fudge Stripe Cookie Salad:

1 package fudge stripe cookies, broken into pieces
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
    1 small tub cool whip
1 can of mandarin oranges, drained

Prepare pudding, add cool whip, 3/4 cookies, and all of the oranges. Sprinkle leftover cookies on top and serve.
