Eyesight changes during pregnancy?

So i had not really noticed a huge difference in my eyesight during this pregnancy until i had an eyesight test done for nursing school and my eyesight was not 20/20 like it has always been. Granted it has been about 3 years though. Could this be the pregnancy? Ever since i got the test done i have really noticed it and notice things going blurry sometimes and i notice i can't see things far away as well. Could this be pregnancy or just my eyes going bad??

  • Yep it could be the pregnancy. I talked to my eye doctor about it and she said any hormonal changes can effect a woman's vision. She said some women even have changes in their vision during their monthly cycle.

  • I've had glasses since I was 9, but I've had to up my Rx with every pregnancy. Yes, pregnancy takes a toll on your eyesight. Not every woman experiences much with it, but it can definitely happen.
