What's for breakfast this morning?

I'm trying to decide what I want to cook for breakfast, but I am running out of ideas, tired of the same old things. We usually have either oatmeal or eggs and toast, or pancakes, waffles, or ham and egg sandwiches. Oh or cold cereal :) What's your favorite breakfast, or what are you making this morning?

  • You don't have to stick with regular 'breakfast foods' you really can eat anything for any meal as long as it is a balanced healthy meal.
I just had cold cereal this morning though.

  • Lol, yeah it's only 9am here I still have a while til lunch :). I try to keep our breakfasts low fat and low sodium, because of my dietary restrictions, but i do occasionally make bacon or natural sausage for the kids. I might make some sausage and egg breakfast burritos for everyone else, and then just have my normal, egg over easy with a slice of lowfat ham lunch meat on some whole wheat toast, with a grapefruit. But keept the suggestions coming, it will give me ideas for future use too!

  • It's after lunch here.
The kids had donuts for breakfast. I bought them each one yesterday (since we had run out of milk and no one had breakfast) but the icing melted on the walk home so they saved them for today. I had a bowl of cereal. I never cook breakfast. The kids are up hours before I am (usually around 6am and eat before 7am, I don't usually get up until at least 8am on weekends) so they have already eaten when I get up.
If I cook breakfast stuff it's for dinner, usually waffles with sausage and/or bacon and eggs/omelets.
