What age was your child the whiniest?

I thought my DD's was two but now she is 4 and I am changing my mind. She is starting to whine over little things. How can I stop this?

  • oh yeah, my daughter is four too and she whines constantly. I haven't figured out how to stop it so I am hoping it is just a phase and when she turns five she will grow out of it.

    My new tactic is that when whining happens it shuts my ears off and I act like I'm getting static. They stare at me like I'm nuts. But it's working a little.

  • it just gets worse with each year.
    My oldest daughter will turn 10 next month and she is the whiniest kid I have ever known. my other kids mostly outgrew it when they were 4, although they still have their days. She is whiny every single day.
