  • Yeah, but that's b/c we have a dog and my DD loves our dog, so I wouldn't be too concerned. I'd have to see the dog first though.

  • As long as my child wasn't afraid of dogs I would have no problems with it.

  • I probably wouldn't, only because one accident could scar your child for the rest of his or her life. If this daycare were owned by a good friend or family member, who your child was around with the dog on a regular basis, then maybe.

  • Sure, why not? My daughter loves dogs, and she isn't allergic to pet dander.

A child can get scarred for the rest of his/her life anywhere and anytime.

  • Do you only know it is well trained because of what you were told by the owner?

Or are you the one who has the daycare....because in that case it would be hard for most peple to take your word for it

  • I used to live across the street from an in-home daycare with dogs (they moved, not me). I don't care how nice the dog is, he** NO I would not send my kids to a daycare with a dog.

  • Yes!
It is good for kids (and everyone else) to be around dogs...that's why they use them in a lot of therapy's.

So as long as there is no allergies to consider, I think it's a better place for it :)
