I make my own baby food, so some seasonal fruits and veggies are making it challenging...

What can I mix with pureed Mango to make it less tart?

He's 6.5mos so he doesn't eat citrus just yet.

  • You can mix it with apricot too and that should be close to being in season too.

  • I wouldn't give mango yet at 6.5 months - my kids didn't eat it til 8 or so. But, you could mix it with banana.

  • :12 because it can be a little harsh on such a young baby's tummy. If my 3yo eats too much he gets awful stomach cramps & diarrhea. I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, it just might be a good idea to wait a little while with it. Get baby used to milder fruits & veggies first.

  • oooo banana or apple, I'm going to try it my self first though

I have it frozen in the fridge, I puree or blend his food and defrost it when I feel he is okay to eat it. By the way it is sooo tart I am waiting anyway. Good advice ladies. Thank You
