  • Our income is about $2,600 per month. We average about $346 per month. (This works out to be about 80 per week; some week are less some weeks are more). We are a family of 4 and 1 dog. The money we spend the $80 INCLUDES cleaners, personal care product and dog care items. We buy in bulk, buy on sale, and our meal may have meat in them, but not a whole lot. We will for example will eat homemade chicken stir-fry or homemade soups. Meals that include meat but only a 1lb or less to feed our whole family.

  • We take hom $2000 or less per month. I spend anywhere from $100-500 per month, depending on sales & how much I stock up on sale items (I'd rather shell out more money one month for sale stuff we use than pay full price when I need it). We also spend about $1000-$1500 once a year for a year's worth of beef, so my weekly/monthly budget includes little to no meat, which helps. Also, once we can start eating from our garden, I spend a LOT less - I have to buy pretty much zero produce during mid-summer into fall.
