is this a normal sleeping schedule for a 12 month old?

he will go to bed around 10:30-11:00pm and would wake up anytime from 4:00am to 6am and won't sleep past that time... he will take a nap any time from 9-11 to 11-1pm and then sometimes take a an hour nap in the afternoon like sometime around 4-5pm and would sleep 5-6pm.

  • Hmmm. At that age, my daughter was sleeping 12 hours a night...well still is actually. Babies' schedules really vary from one child to the next. He's sleeping what about 10 hours total? I don't know. He may not need as much sleep as the average baby. Does he seem well rested to you?

  • It isn't so much what times he is sleeping but how much. 9-10 hours seems ok. I have a 19 month old and she sleeps from 8pm until 6am. Thens he naps usually from 9am until 11am and is up the rest of the day. Every child is different. As long as he isn't always sleepy or fussy I wouldn't worry.
