Can anyone tell me a good "non medication" remedy for nausea?

  • If you can, lie on your right side. The ob/gyn told me this when I was pregnant and it really works. I still use it when I feel nauseated today.

    You could try sipping ginger ale or eat saltine crackers. Peppermint can also help.

  • With my 3rd child I found that a really cold Slurpee helped with the nausea. Good luck and I hope the nausea passes soon.

  • Suck on peppermints or drink peppermint tea. Ginger is good too.

  • One of the best things my midwife suggested was lemonade and potato chips. Just a few and a few sips before getting out of bed. Worked wonders now for all 5!

  • Ginger tea (or a mild gingerale, not buffalo rock), I love this remedy. To start I would steep the tea for a short time making it weak and drink it slowly. If that stays down, make a stronger cup.

  • oh, also my chiropractor once said to drink warm flat coke. It's the sugar content :)
