  • These are very close to my Granny's Molasses cookies... We use regular white sugar instead of brown sugar. They are sooo tasty and my absolute favorite.

  • Double Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 c. (1 stick) softened butter, no substitutes
1 c. Jiff crunchy peanut butter (Jiff recommended)
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c sugar
    1 egg, room temp
    1 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 t. baking soda
    1/2 t. baking powder
    1/8 t. salt
    1 T. milk
    1 t. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. Reese's peanut butter chips
1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Cream together butter and peanut butter with brown sugar and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla and milk until combined. Add flour mixture. Stir in chips. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place 2" apart on cookie sheet. Flatten balls to about 1/4" thick by pressing fork in two directions to form crisscross patterns. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool slightly, transfer to wire rack.
