new baby name

My 4 year old daughters name is Savanna Marie and if I have another girl it will prob be Sophia (not sure of a middle name) for my husbands grandmother whose name is Sophia. I don't have a boy name picked out but my dad and my husbands grandfather both have the name John in their name so I thought that would be a good middle name. I just don't have any ideas and I have a long way to go still but was just wondering what sort of ideas you all could come up with. I could also use some help with a middle name for Sophia.

  • My favorite names for a boy are:
    Nathaniel (DS's name)
Jackson (although this one doesn't "flow" well with John)

Favorite names for a girl (that "flows" well with Sophia)

  • Thanks. I like Sophia Rayne that sounds really nice. I am not sold on the boy names but it took me almost 9 months to agree with the name Savanna and I couldn't be happier with it. A family friends name was Nathan and he passed away a few years ago so I don't think I could do that one. I liked Grace but a friend of mine lost their little girl who's name was grace. I know that shouldn't matter but it does to me. I don't want to upset anyone.

  • My dd is Sofia Avery Mae, I love Avery with it (mae is a family name)
For a boy I love the name Rhys, Rylan, and Ryder John would work with these names :)

  • I just had a baby in April. What I did to come up with a unique name was to open up the phone book and read thru peoples last names, it is really fun and you will come up with something good there!!
