measuring big

at 32 weeks i measured 36 now at 33 1/2 week im measuring 38 weeks dose this mean my baby will be huge just wondering this is my 3rd child and i have never measured big before

  • no..... some drs. don't even really measure, they just observe the changes and make sure your belly is getting bigger. it's not an accurate indicator of the baby's size

  • ouch 9 ibs my last was my biggest she was 7'4 i had her at 37 weeks i though 7 ibs was bad lol

  • Belly size has nothing to do with baby size. My smallest belly held a 9lb8oz baby. My biggest belly, where at 12 weeks I was so big they thought I was having twins and sent me for an ultrasound, always measured about 6 weeks ahead, etc, was my smallest baby - 7lb14oz. Baby's position makes a difference, the amount of amniotic fluid makes a difference. Measuring big does NOT mean a huge baby.

  • I am glad you asked this question. I am measuring bigger too but not by that much. Good luck. We don't have much longer. I am 33 weeks too.
