A little background info- I work at a daycare and here lately our paychecks have been late and some of the paychecks have even bounced. I use to work 40 hours but my hours have been cut down to about 15-20 a week. I decided that it was time to start looking for another job. I put in some applications and I got a call this morning while I was at work. Normally, I don't answer my phone, but I was expecting a call from my son's teacher. When I answered it was about a job that I had applied for. Anyways, she asked me if it was a good time (one child was crying, and it was very loud in the room). I told her honestly it is not a good time at the moment because I was at work, but I would be available after 12:30 and I asked her if she could possibly call back then or if I could call her then. She gave me her cell phone number and asked me to call around 1 o'clock. Cont..

Cont... I called at 12:50 but she did not answer so I left a message. So my question is, It is now almost 2:30 and I have not heard back from her. Should I call her back again? If so, should I call her cell phone or her office phone? Also, what can I do differently next time? I feel like I messed this up. I really want this job, but I have to continue to work until I get another job. TIA!
