Cake question!

Today is my son's 1st b-day and I'm making a cake. I don't have oil so can I use butter instead?

  • Yes. You can substitute butter or margarine, sour cream, or applesauce for vegetable oil in a cake mix.

  • I prefer cakes made with butter. Use a recipe that requires butter, not oil. Let me know if you need one...
