  • I would say try to avoid them for now if possible....... But, to me sure ask your child's Dr. first!!! If they are on top of a bun for a burger or something, just be careful and watch your baby closely for signs of choking.........

  • I would ask your doctor for sure. Also be aware that consumption of poppy seeds causes a false positive for narcotics in drug tests - not that your child will be having a drug test, but if the poppy seed causes this effect, I'm not sure it's a healthy choice of nutrition for a small child. I've also heard that poppy seeds contain a natural property that is like morphine so....
