Ear Imbalance

Is there such a thing as ear imbalance? My 11 month old boy is constantly up every 4 hours at night. At first I thought it was because of milk, but I'm beginning to notice, it's not milk, he only drinks an oz or so. But I do hold him up on an angle and he sleeps comfortably. After I put him down he wakes up (4 hours later) needs to be hold at an angle. He also pulls and tugs on his ear a lot when he wakes up. Is there an imbalance disorder in his ear that might cause this? thanks for replying.

  • He could be teething.

  • Not likely. Sounds like an ear infection. Take him in to have his ears checked. Then take him to a chiropractor, preferrably one who specializes in small children - he'll be "sleeping like a baby" once he's all aligned!
