What was your baby's first word? All your kids?

Mine says "duck". He says other things but that's the only word to which he knows the meaning. Just "Du, du, du" all day long! So cute...

  • He said the normal stuff like mama and dada (dada first), but he still seems to not know what they mean. He's pretty close with knowing what dada is, though. The only thing he's really sure about is "duck", the rest of the time he just experiments with his voice. screaming and yelling ALL the TIME!!!! It's really funny though, I love it.

  • Awesome, Amberoz! That's hilarious! My mom tells me that the first word that she understood when I said it, and that I knew what it meant was "parachute". I WAS 2 at the time, though, so maybe I was just biding my time and only talking when no one else was around...
