Obama happy economy is going in right direction. Really?

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Economy-adds-431K-jobs-but-apf-573465896.html?x=0

Every time we make a government job it places a burden on tax payers. Governmeent can only get money from printing or taxing. All this government hiring is not helping.
Can someone explain how this is good?
431,000 jobs and 411,000 are temporary census workers. Only 20,000 were private sector jobs. Actually slowing to a record rate.
The census jobs will go away in a couple of months then we will back slide. We should be making 2-300,000 permanant private sector jobs a month.

Where is the good Obama sees?

  • IDK. I read that the UE rate went down slightly because of government jobs (census). I would hope that most people understand that those are temporary and that UE is likely to rise again when those jobs are done. I guess it's good news that some people that might not have jobs otherwise are making some money from a government job, but without having a sustainable private sector employment influence it just reminds me that we are going more and more broke as a nation every single minute.

  • Just more manipulation of the numbers, there can't be more jobs in the real world, come on! Especially with all the people who cannot do their jobs on the Gulf. But since most of them are probably self employed, I bet they don't get counted in those manipulated statistics...

  • I don't know! I give up on trying to figure this out! I am just waiting for a competent Congress and President. Then we can begin to fix our economy.

  • Cause he wants america to go under, because if we are in a major crisis before 2012, isn't there some thing that says he can stay president?

Yet some here continue to support the untoward practices of many big businesses- Moving labor and Corp offices off shore. Good bye jobs, Hc, Corp tax dollars. How the heck does that HELP the economy? I won't hold my breath waiting for a compelling , commonsensical response.
