ok so my 5 almost 6 month old has mysterious swelling on her right foot

been to the dr 3 x's already they checked her urine to rule out kidney porbs they sent to a cardio specialist to rule out heart prob its not food allergy shes only on formula still not a bug bite no marks or pain when its touched she crawls and bears weight on it good shes still overall a happy baby no fevers so please somebody help me with this mystery what the heck could it be we r currently looking into seeing if its lymphedema had anyone else been thru any of this??

  • Did the dr do blood work? What's her blood cell count like?

    Also, don't rule out food allergies. Dairy and soy allergies are both quite commong, so babies can be allergic to their formula.

  • that they didnt do i actually dont know y hmm ill ask about this in my next appt as for the formula its been the same one since birth so idk i just wish it would go away :/

  • What I'm thinking with the blood cells is start looking for an auto immune disease or cancer. Also, they should test for diabetes. If your baby has never developed a rash or doesn't spit up a lot, then I wouldn't suspect a food allergy.
