  • Have her organize a game night with her friends. Have her plant a garden, redecorate her room, create a fantasy house book (put in stuff she wants for her own home), take up an art....bored people are boring people. Limit the tech time she has.

  • go buy her a blank t-shirt or two at Michael's and some things to decorate them with - paints, etc.

    other arts and crafts

tell her to come up with her own summer business - making and selling jewelry, a service job (walking dogs perhaps, if you know the neighbors)

"fashion show" have her dress up and maybe take or have her take pictures - then set up a book or a magazine with "write ups"

  • Take her to the library, and maybe choose a few books in subject areas you think she'll like. (Get one on unplugged fun things to do) Mine loves books so this keeps her happy.
Also a musical instrument is a good way to occupy time.
Crafts like knitting or crochet, making collages and cooking together are all fun.
My dd is into doing yoga on her own and singing. We have one day a week where she gets an hour of computer and we watch no television. And if she is ever "bored" I agree with the pp, I give her a nice list of chores that need doing and she finds ways to entertain herself real fast.

OP, is there some reason she needs to be inside?
