  • Donate it to a college kid majoring in art and he can use it in a sculpture.

    Or sell it. Whatever.

  • You can't sell it,its not safe beyond the expiration date

  • "You can't sell it,its not safe beyond the expiration date "

If you're selling it for a purpose *other* than the original intended purpose (ie, selling it to an art student for a project and not to a mom looking for a car seat), you can do whatever you want with it.

  • geez, sorry. those sounded like 2 separate ideas, not a fact of giving it to,or selling it for art. Sheesh!

  • We turned one old car seat into a regular seat. We took the straps out made a pretty new cover for the inside and sat it in the playroom. It even has the cup holder still attached. My eight year still sits in and my nine month old climbs in it too. They like to drag it out for movie time and its nice for camping. That way she does not have to sit on the ground or floor.

  • Can you imagine the landfills and the junk yards filled with things that are perfectly good, not worn out, but some lamebrained new regulation puts an expiration date on a CAR SEAT???? Its not like its a jug of milk and will get sour. For Gods sake...what is the deal???? Crazy!
