How often do yo make pancakes for breakfast?

I make them every Sunday. The boys love them! I wish I had time to make pancakes for them every morning. They eat them with honey.

  • Every Saturday, and we eat them with real maple syrup and powdered sugar. :D The blueberries and whole wheat cancel out the powdered sugar. ;)

  • Kiwi prefers them for lunch for some reason. She gets them a few times a month, no set days.

  • Almost every morning. I work at 10 so I have time in the morning. And my dd's school is right across the street so she leaves at 8.55. We love pancakes with Canadian maple syrup (MIL is Canadian and we always have plenty) and powdered sugar. And strawberrys.

  • Almost every weekend. Here is our standard recipe: OATMEAL BLUEBERRY PANCAKES
1/2 cup whole wheat flour (I use whole wheat pastry flour)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (I use whole wheat pastry flour)
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    2 tablespoons baking powder
    3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
2 cups milk (plant or animal)
3 eggs, beaten (or egg substitute)
1/4 cup olive oil (I think that olive oil is too heavy; I use softened butter or canned pumpkin)
    1/2 cup frozen blueberries
Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium heat. In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a small bowl, mix oats and milk. Whisk in eggs and olive oil. Pour into the flour mixture all at once. Continue mixing until smooth. Gently fold in blueberries.
Pour batter about 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared griddle. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, until bubbly. Fli

  • Im not a fan of pancakes so I dont make them much at all.

We do waffles sometimes for dinner(like last night) but breakfast I dont cook much unless its oatmeal.

  • Only when we camp, really. We'd rather have them for supper. A couple times a year we maybe have a late breakfast (brunch) of them & other stuff, but for breakfast, only when we camp - and then it's a later breakfast (brunch) too.
