  • Call your doc or go to the hospital. You could still be in labor.

  • Cramping or contractions?

  • Drink a FULL glass of cold water, and lie on your left side. They are more than likely braxton hicks contractions. If they decrease or increase with movement or such, then they are not actual contractions.

  • Okay, that doesnt sound like contractions.Youre body may be preparing you though...a lot of women get a touch of diarhea in the weeks before hand, I guess to clean you out before giving birth.
Contractions feel like your entire belly is tightening up.Put your hands on the sides of your belly and gently but firmly push in a little and squeeze. That may start you off on a Braxton Hick contraction so you can kiinda know what a real contraction feels more like.
Also, you will get pains in your lower back.
hang in there, momma! You don't have much longer to go!

  • It sounds like you could be in early labor. There is NO REASON to rush to the hospital at this point. Like a PP said DRINK A FULL COLD GLASS OF WATER and lay on your right side. If this is false labor caused by dehydration it won't actually progress to real labor but can be uncomfortable so drink the water. If this is NOT false labor you could be in this stage for anywhere from 2 hours to 48 hours.

Get some rest tonight and if you aren't in full blown labor by tomorrow take a walk. It might get things moving but if not it will at least help with the discomfort. Moving during labor is the best way to deal with discomfort.
