My son's name (Jeremy) has been in the top 1000 since 1942 with the exception of 1942 and 1947. In 1976, his name was the 14th most popular name and in 2004 (the year he was born), it was the 111st most popular name. My name (Amy) has been popular since 1912. It even got the number 2 slot in the 70's. My husband's name, however, has never been in the top 1000 and we have never met another person with his name.
