Did you know?

I see that many people dog the Roman Catholic Church, but they don't know that it is the head of all the denominations of Christianity. They are in charge of Christianity. How does that make you feel now?

  • The Roman Catholic Church was the very first Christian church, and it is the mother of all the churches. A little bit of field work would show that it is.

  • The denominations branched off from it, but they share certain core beliefs.

  • the same as it always did. I was raised Roman Catholic. My family is all from Italy. The Roman Catholic church is corrupt and anyone who can choose to change the holy day and so forth is not for me. while they share certain core beliefs (which is from the bible) they seek too much control. If you read the history behind it all you will see

  • Just a bit of history here...Constantine who did not believe in Christianity, saw a blazing cross in which he then converted. It is said that it later became a "state" religion though he apparently didn't persecute the pagans and his life got no better. He continued to kill, including his own son and his second wife. he continued on with wars and so forth. At that time, it is said that the catholic church hid behind doors for fear of persecution from the rulers and once constantine declared it a state religion then everything changed. Many bishops even gained political advantage with Constantine in rule. It was nothing more than a 'state" religion according to a ruler who was just as corrupt!

  • The Roman Catholic Church is not the first church. The first believers are recorded of in the New Testament. The "church" is the body of true worshipers, it's not a religion, not a denomination, and not a building. The church did not die for our sins, nor did a religion or denomination---Jesus died for our sins. The Roman Catholic Church is a false religion with many false doctrines and beliefs.

  • I actually agree with you on this m2! If people would read the history of the catholic church, they will see how it got corrupted and how they do not believe Jesus completely wiped away the sins and that the head of the church had the authority to forgive your sins. If you also read about the catholic church, you will see again that it would not have survived without the power and pressure of the emperors who worked in their pagan beliefs
