  • Right after birth is the time you are most likely to get pregnant, so yes! I would take a test, and see the doctor.

  • If you are having unprotected sex, then there is always a possibility of becoming pregnant. And you can definitely get pregnant soon after having your baby. I got pregnant with my third baby when my second child was 4 months old.

  • Yep. Lol. There are some babies that are 9 and 10 months apart. One of my friends has children 10 months apart.

  • OMG I just wrote on another post that I'm not planning on having more kids!! I actually have a 5yo and I wasn't planning on having a second baby.. She was a pleasant "oops" lol
We're normally responsible!! I just thought I couldn't get pregnant right after having given birth.

  • Most people think its impossible.. Another reason it happens so often!
Doctors/Clinics should really work at being more informative. I see pamphlets saying breastfeeding helps (slightly) with the prevention of pregnancy, and advocating safe sex which sort of hints you CAN get pregnant.. But I've yet to see it actually be told to a new mother.

  • That is one of the reason they tell you not to have sex for six weeks even after a c-section. Because you are the MOST fertile then.

  • Yes, you could be pregnant. My sister and I are 10 mos. and 17 days apart in age. I have 5 children and they were born 1/5/00, 11/17/00, 10/25/01, 9/17/02 and 7/5/03. We had ours close on purpose, though.
