what would cause.....

What type of insect critter would leave a bite that looks like, white in the middle red on the edges and swollen and very hot to the touch? Been with her father this weekend, and he claims doesnt know what bite her. Any idea would be great if the swelling doesnt go down in the next couple of hours I might take her in, to make sure its nothing serious.

  • I would take her to the doctor ASAP. A bull's eye rash can be a sign of Lyme disease. I don't know what the chances of it are in your area, but if an infected tick bit her you might be looking at it. The only way to know for sure is to have a doctor check her out.
