My 22 month old son freaks out when i try to put pull ups on him....

my son has been going poop behind my dads chair for months now, recently he has been starting to be bothered by dirty diapers, and he is starting to say peepee. on one or two occasions he actually said peepee and ran to the bathroom only to get upset when i put him on the potty. so i though well i will get him pull-ups and maybe that will help get him ready for potty training...well he starts to cry and scream no when i get one leg in....any idea's??

  • pull ups are a waste of time and money. If he is ready to train, just put him in underwear or let him run around your house naked for a few days. Once he gets used to the sensation of peeing/pooping w/o a diaper (pull ups are diapers) he will probably catch on right away. Just be ready to clean a bunch of messes at first.
