does any one have any good diets for weight loss?

i am at 145 and i want to go down to 115 i do work out at least 4 times a week but the down thing is that i eat uh healthy! so i need some advice! !

  • Give up refined sugar and white products (white bread, white pasta, white rice, white potatoes), eat more fruit and veggies, less meat, drink lots of water. Cut out soft drinks and junk food and salt. That's a good start.

  • no refined carbs! if you must have any carbs, eat whole grains - but i avoid them too, at least while im trying to loose weight. eat lots of lean protein - chicken, turkey, egg whites, tuna, fish, nuts, etc. - lots of veggies and fruit. and drink lots of water!
    check out mega-t green tea pills if you want, they work - i know!

  • Watch your calorie intake. A lot of times when someone works out, they tend to eat more calories than what they are burning...even if it's healthy. You have to burn @3500 calories to lose 1 lb. Check to see what your BMR is. That is how many calories your body needs to function on a daily basis. then you will know how many calories you need to cut out to lose weight.

  • people always think to lose weight you stop eating...count your 5 small meals a day wil 2 will keep your matabolism going..if you eat only once a day your bofy reatins all the fat thinking its starving! Good luck...

  • i hear apple cider vinegar. like 2tblspoons before each meal. Im trying it with diet and exercise (its only been like 3-4 days now) people say it wont hurt you so maybe if it could help might as well try it

  • Diets and diet aids (if they even work) are temporary fixes; some are actually dangerous. Unless you learn how to eat healthy for life, you will not be able to maintain a healthy weight and will stay on the gain/lose roller coaster - frustrating for you and hard on your body. Drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water every day. Eat 6-7 servings of whole grains (brown rice, whole grain bread, etc.) every day. Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, in at least 3 different colors. Eat at least 2 servings of legumes every day. You will lose weight. You will have more energy. You will maintain a healthy weight. You will get sick less often. You will be setting a wonderful example for your children. You can get free meal plans and recipes from Dr. McDougall, or find his books at your local library:
    Eat an apple or a big pile of vegetables before meals

  • i agree with admckenzie and rkoloms
    i like salads made with swiss chard and kale spinach and collards, the really dark leafy greens. they are very very good for you. add your favorite veggies, avocados and nuts to your salads for good fats.
    eat as naturally as possible.
    the further a food is from its original state, the less goodness it contains for you!
    you can change up your workouts too, add strength training, maybe swim for cardio once in a while, change the intensity of your cardio. throw in some pilates. end your day with a little yoga, it is very good for the mind, body and soul!
