  • No, but thousands of years ago people wore a lot less clothes and washed far less often. 500 years ago, a person typically bathed twice a year. can you imagine how often a nomad washed?

  • I think it has something to do with aiding with the scent of certain sweat glands on certain areas of our bodies, such as the pubic and armpit areas. I can't remember what we were taught over 20 years ago in high school class on this, but I think it's the type of glands in those areas.
