does anyone else hate sweatpants on little boys?

I just think they look awful..... my son has a few pairs I use for gardening or pajama pants. My husband took him out in public in a pair this morning and I cringed... they look sloppy and gross IMO.

  • I think all sweats are sloppy looking.

  • Yes, I do - I have a 2-1/2 year old son and I don't really like many boys clothes so I am really picky actually on what he wears..

  • I'm just the opposite. I hate to see little boys in Kackies or Jeans... They are way to "hard" looking - they just look uncomfortable! My kids have just about all sweats - but not the ones with the elastic at the bottom, those just look horrid and uncomfortable all at once.

  • No. They're kids. You think they care about how they look?

  • I don't mind the sweat pants that aren't elastic at the bottom.

  • My boys wear sweatpants all the time and so do I. We like being comfortable.

  • I think the ones without elastic bottoms are cute.

  • makes potty training a lot easier and they r more comfortable in car seats. My youngest son calls them "flat pants"

  • I don't like the elastic bottoms, but otherwise I really don't care. My son's school wants them in pants with no buttons or zippers on gym days (three days a week) or else they won't let them participate and send a note home, so he has plenty of windbreaker pants, sweats, and fleece sweats for the winter.
